I remember the feeling after my first class with Cary, as to how wrong I was about the level of intensity and strength required. The thing I like most about it is the variety of muscle groups worked that I had previously avoided and of course the people and fun we have in class.
The direct results from my workouts have been an increase in stamina which helps with chasing after two little kids at home and even simple things like shoveling the driveway. I also went from someone who disliked running to actually running and completing the CIBC run for the cure, I am having less back problems and it certainly helps with reducing stress. Just recently I had a doctor’s visit and found my HDL (the good cholesterol) had increased as a direct result of my being more active.
